About Me

Hello, I’m Bryan, the founder of WILD Education (Wildlife Interactive Learning and Development). I graduated with a degree in Community Health in Decemeber of 2024. While that field is often associated with healthcare, I saw the potential of combining community health with environmental education. Through WILD Education, I aim to bridge that connection by making wildlife and environmental education more accessible, engaging, and meaningful.

The idea of WILD Education sprouted from a program proposal I created to bring environmental education, specifically focused on air pollution, to public schools in high exposure areas. The initiative included plans to install air quality monitors to help students understand and learn the impact of pollution in more interactive ways. While I was never able to move forward with that project, it helped shape my vision for WILD Education: a space where education, environment, and community come together.

Originally, WILD Education began as a curriculum development project. I love creative lesson plans and hands on activities that can be adapted to classrooms, homeschools, and afterschool programs. My lessons are designed to foster critical thinking, encourage curiosity, and help find a place for students of all ages in the field of wildlife conservation.

But WILD Education has grown into something more personal.

This platform is now just as much about my own experiences in the field. From wildlife photography to sharing my antkeeping experience to attending environmental events, I want to share my adventures because I believe education doesn’t just happen in the classroom. It happens out in the field, under the stars, and more education continues to happen to me. I still have so much to learn and I hope that by sharing my learning experiences, I’m able to spark curiosity and learning in you.

So whether you’re here to learn something new or follow along on my WILD adventures… Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
